After months of rumors, Activision has officially confirmed that he is working on a version of Call of Duty: Warzone for mobile devices.
In a short article published on the official blog, the American company explains that "we are creating a new AAA mobile experience that will take the exciting, fluid and enormous action by Call of Duty: Warzone to portable players."
For this, they are hiring personnel for different positions, which will join "a growing team of mobile veterans, winners of multiple prizes, and emerging talents."
This new Warzone is being created from scratch and will not be a port of the current Warzone of Consoles and PC. The game will be designed to "entertain players from around the world for many years," confirming that it will continue a model of constant updates as the Warzone we know today.
The most interesting thing is that this call of duty: Warzone for mobile is being developed in Barcelona, specifically on Digital Legends. The Catalan Studio was purchased by Activision at the end of last year, and will become the first internal study of the American company that develops a Call of Duty for mobile phones.
The new Call of Duty: Warzone for mobile devices still does not have a launch date, but the fact that it is hiring personnel right now is indicative that it still has a long way ahead.
