After the Elite Dangerous Community was dissatisfied with the launch of the Odyssey expansion of the SCI-FI title last year, the team tried to make some improvements in recent months with a number of updates in recent months. In return, the planned console version of the enlargement had to pause for the time being because the team wanted to focus fully on the development on the PC. However, those responsible have drawn a line.
In a message to the fans, David Brüten (Chief of Frontier Developments) writes about the future of Elite Dangerous. He announces that it will now no longer give new content for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Of course, that also means that Odyssey will no longer appear for consoles. David brave regrets this decision. Of course, the servers still remain active and there will be (if necessary) "critical" updates for the consoles. How to continue with the PC version of Elite Dangerous, the team would like to reveal in the near future.
