When there is a cinematographic adaptation of comics, in particular superheroes, there is often a certain level of deviation from the source material with regard to the design of costumes. People say they want a comic costume, but nobody really wants to see Wolverine with the stupid mask and blue epaulets and matching banana hammock.
What I mean is that some costumes are just bad on the screen. Take Captain America's costume in The Avengers de Marvel Studios. No doubt the worst Costume of the MCU, but it is quite close to what we see in the comics. Next week, this costume will be available in Marvel's Avengers.
Hope this costume will be more beautiful in video game than in movies. All the other Cap costumes are designed with a kind of function or goal behind them, but this one seems to wear something from Party City.
Whether you like this costume or not, there is an interesting perspective on the horizon. As you may know, there are already several inspired MCU outfits in Marvel's Avengers. There is a bunch of endgame, the Black Widow costume of its solo film and the Infinity War Thor Costume.
The Avengers and the associated superheroes have new costumes in pretty much all movies, so there is a ton of costumes from which to inspire. Now that Crystal Dynamics chooses specific outfits in specific films, we may see more, like the Black War Civil War's Black Panther costume or the Age of Ultron Hawkeye Costume. The possibilities are vast.
The Captain America Avengers Costume will be available on the market on August 17, the same day from the output of the DLC Black Panther. Marvel's Avengers is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Stadia.
