Others have earned this award before, as players who originated in the League of Legends Champions Korea or League of Legends European Championship, but this is the first time that a smaller region like Turkey can claim such a feat and support a Player like Closer. . And to take that point home, in the three games and two champions, Closer obtained 19 murders, 21 assists and only two deaths in the second game against Team Liquid. He led his team to the first title of the LCS and showed him the entire community of the LCS that he should have won the MVP title of the summer split of 2021.

100 thieves are found in the LCS

Since 2018, when 100 Thieves came to the Grand Final against Team Liquid, the team has gone from being one of the best and worst teams of the League. In the history of the League of Legends of North America, only four teams had raised the trophy before today: Cloud9, CLG, TSM and Team Liquid. But with the victory of 100 Thieves about Team Liquid, they broke the cycle and added another equipment to the short list of national victors.
